The Bateson Derby Horse Trailer is a modern rear unload double horsebox with 7′ headroom. The Bateson Derby Horsebox Trailer has exceptionally low unladen weight makes it suitable for use behind larger saloon cars.

The maximum gross weight is 1700kg but this can be reduced as required if used with only one horse. If the total weight of car trailer and load is less than 3500kg it can be used with the new standard car driver’s license (upon new order only).

The trailer is fitted with a large front window similar to the Deauville to be able to see the horses during transport and a rot proof plastic and galvanised steel floor for total security.
